REL HT/1003 MKII SUBWOOFER

The REL HT/1003 MKII is a compact powered subwoofer engineered for impactful home cinema bass without the space requirements of a larger enclosure. Part of REL's Serie HT, it combines a 10-inch CarbonGlas driver, 300W Class D amplification and a sealed cabinet to reproduce movie soundtracks, games and music with speed and authority.

10-INCH CARBONGLAS DRIVER

The front-firing 10-inch (250mm) long-throw driver uses a glass-fibre composite cone with an inverted carbon-fibre centre cap. Its reinforced structure, upgraded suspension and powerful magnet assembly are designed to maintain controlled movement during demanding low-frequency passages.

The sealed cabinet provides a specified in-room bass extension of 24Hz at -6dB. With no passive radiator or bass-reflex port, the HT/1003 MKII offers a straightforward, compact enclosure suited to smaller and medium-sized entertainment rooms.

300W CLASS D AMPLIFICATION

A dedicated 300W RMS Class D amplifier provides the output needed for dynamic movie effects and demanding bass transients. REL's theatre-focused analogue filtering is designed to maintain a clean low-frequency response while delivering substantial impact from the compact driver and cabinet.

RCA LFE INPUTS & DAISY-CHAIN OUTPUTS

The HT/1003 MKII provides stereo RCA low-level inputs that can also be used for a dedicated LFE signal from an AV receiver or home cinema processor. Matching RCA outputs allow the signal to be passed to another compatible subwoofer for multi-subwoofer installations.

Unlike REL's Serie T/x, the HT/1003 MKII does not have a Neutrik Speakon High-Level input. It is intended primarily for systems with RCA subwoofer or suitable preamplifier outputs.

FLEXIBLE PLACEMENT & WIRELESS OPTION

Measuring just 362 × 343 × 387mm, the HT/1003 MKII is easy to accommodate alongside a television system or in a dedicated cinema room. The cabinet features a line-grained composite finish and a polished lacquer top panel, with Black and White colour options.

For systems where a long RCA cable would be inconvenient, the optional REL HT-Air MKII wireless system provides an alternative connection. It is sold separately.
