VAT at checkout

Storefront prices include VAT where applicable. The final tax treatment is calculated from the order details and shown in the checkout totals before payment.

EU business customers

A VAT-registered business established in an EU member state other than Bulgaria may qualify for intra-Community reverse-charge treatment when the legal conditions are met. Select “Business purchase” at checkout and provide the company name, billing details and VAT identification number.

The VAT country prefix must correspond to the relevant EU country and the number must validate through the European Commission’s VIES service. Delivery must be to an EU member state other than Bulgaria. A Bulgarian business purchase does not qualify for this cross-border treatment.

If VIES reports the number as invalid or is temporarily unavailable, the checkout keeps VAT in the order. Contact [email protected] before completing the purchase if assistance is needed. We do not promise a retroactive VAT change after an invoice has been issued.

Evidence and invoices

We record the submitted VAT number, the VIES result, the validation time and the tax treatment with the order. A qualifying invoice identifies the customer VAT number and states the reverse-charge treatment. Providing a VAT number does not by itself establish eligibility, and we may request evidence needed for tax records.

Supported territory

The storefront country selector follows the destinations enabled by the seller in WooCommerce and updates displayed prices using the configured tax rules. A country appearing there does not by itself guarantee that a delivery method is available; checkout confirms availability, shipping charges and the final tax treatment from the complete delivery address.

For deliveries outside the EU or to special fiscal territories, import VAT, customs duties, carrier handling charges or other local amounts may apply unless checkout expressly states that they are included. The applicable delivery and returns terms must be reviewed before ordering.
