REL T/9x SPECIAL EDITION SUBWOOFER

The REL T/9x Special Edition is the enhanced version of REL’s Serie T/x flagship, combining a 10-inch front-firing active driver, 10-inch down-firing passive radiator and a 300W Class A/B amplifier. The SE version adds a lighter FibreCarbon™ active driver with a carbon-fibre centre cap, increasing output and transient response while retaining the compact T/9x cabinet.

CARBON-FIBRE DRIVER UPGRADE

The key Special Edition change is the upgraded active driver. REL reduces moving mass by using a carbon-fibre centre cap, while the 250mm long-throw FibreCarbon™ cone handles the main bass output. A matching 250mm downward-firing passive radiator supplements low-frequency energy without requiring a conventional reflex port. REL specifies extension to 27Hz at -6dB.

300W CLASS A/B AMPLIFICATION

A 300W RMS Class A/B monoblock amplifier powers the T/9x SE. REL retains analogue controls for crossover, gain, LFE level and 0/180-degree phase selection, making setup direct and predictable without relying on an app or DSP interface.

HIGH-LEVEL, RCA & LFE CONNECTIVITY

The T/9x SE supports REL’s high-level Neutrik Speakon connection, a low-level RCA input and a dedicated LFE RCA input. High-level connection is particularly useful in two-channel systems because it takes the signal directly from the amplifier’s speaker outputs, while LFE provides straightforward integration into home-cinema systems.

OPTIONAL ARROW WIRELESS

For installations where running a long signal cable is impractical, the T/9x SE is compatible with REL’s optional Arrow™ wireless system. Arrow is sold separately and connects through the dedicated wireless interface on the rear panel.
