FOSI AUDIO V3 MONO POWER AMPLIFIER
The Fosi Audio V3 Mono is a compact single-channel Class D power amplifier designed for stereo monoblock systems, multichannel installations and other applications where one dedicated amplifier is used per loudspeaker channel. It combines the Texas Instruments TPA3255 platform with balanced and unbalanced inputs, PFFB technology and high power output from a very compact chassis.
TPA3255 WITH PFFB
The V3 Mono uses the Texas Instruments TPA3255 amplifier chip together with Post-Filter Feedback technology. PFFB is used to reduce the load-dependent behaviour normally associated with Class D output filters while improving linearity and frequency-response consistency across different loudspeaker loads.
240W INTO 4Ω
With the standard 48V/5A power supply, Fosi Audio specifies 240W output into 4Ω. The amplifier is designed for passive loudspeakers with nominal impedances from 2Ω to 8Ω and can also operate from a 32V/5A supply, where rated output is reduced to 100W into 4Ω.
BALANCED & UNBALANCED INPUTS
A combined XLR / 6.35mm TRS input provides balanced connectivity, while a separate RCA input supports conventional unbalanced sources. The balanced input operates at 20dB gain, while the RCA input provides selectable gain settings for easier system matching with different preamplifiers and source components.
AUTOMATIC STANDBY
The front-panel operating switch provides On, Auto and Off modes. In Auto mode, the amplifier can enter standby after a period without an input signal and wake again when signal activity is detected, reducing unnecessary power consumption in systems where the amplifier is left connected continuously.
COMPACT MONOBLOCK SYSTEM BUILDING
A pair of V3 Mono amplifiers can be used for a conventional two-channel stereo system, while additional units can be added for multichannel applications. The compact format makes this particularly practical where dedicated amplification per channel is desired without the size of conventional full-width monoblock amplifiers.
