FOSI AUDIO DK560-N BOOKSHELF SPEAKERS

The Fosi Audio DK560-N is a pair of passive two-way bookshelf loudspeakers designed for compact stereo, desktop and living-room Hi-Fi systems. Each enclosure combines a 5.25 inch mid/bass driver with a 0.75 inch dome tweeter and requires an external stereo amplifier or receiver.

5.25 INCH BI-LAMINATE WOOFER

The mid/bass driver uses a 5.25 inch bi-laminate organic-fibre cone. Its layered construction provides the main radiating surface for bass and midrange reproduction while maintaining the compact proportions expected from a bookshelf loudspeaker.

0.75 INCH SILK-COMPOSITE TWEETER

High frequencies are handled by a 0.75 inch silk/polymer composite dome tweeter. The dedicated two-way driver arrangement allows the tweeter and larger mid/bass unit to cover their respective frequency ranges rather than relying on a single full-range driver.

PASSIVE 6Ω DESIGN

With a nominal impedance of 6Ω and specified amplifier power range of 20–160W per channel, the DK560-N can be partnered with a wide range of conventional stereo amplifiers. As a fully passive loudspeaker, it contains no internal amplification, DAC or wireless receiver.

MDF CABINET CONSTRUCTION

The drivers are housed in a substantial MDF enclosure designed to provide a rigid acoustic structure. The conventional passive architecture also keeps system matching flexible, allowing the loudspeakers to be used with compact Class D amplifiers or larger integrated amplifiers depending on room size and listening requirements.

COMPACT STEREO SYSTEM MATCHING

The DK560-N is particularly suitable for space-conscious stereo systems where a traditional pair of passive bookshelf speakers is preferred over powered speakers. It can be used on suitable furniture or speaker stands and paired with an amplifier selected for its 6Ω nominal load and required listening level.
