CAYIN MT-12N TUBE INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER

The Cayin MT-12N is a compact vacuum tube stereo integrated amplifier combining traditional Class AB push-pull circuitry with elegant wood and chrome detailing. Delivering 9W per channel, the 6P1 version is designed for efficient passive loudspeakers and smaller, music-focused stereo systems where substantial amplifier power is not required.

CLASS AB PUSH-PULL TUBE AMPLIFICATION

The MT-12N uses four 6P1 output tubes in a push-pull output configuration. Two 6N1 tubes support the driver stages, with a small-signal input tube providing voltage amplification.

Its traditional analogue architecture provides a straightforward introduction to vacuum tube amplification without the size and complexity of larger high-power integrated amplifiers.

HANDCRAFTED POINT-TO-POINT CONSTRUCTION

Cayin's MT-series design philosophy emphasizes traditional tube amplifier engineering. Hand-wired point-to-point construction, dedicated output transformers and a separate power transformer form the foundation of the amplifier.

The transformer-coupled output stage provides separate connections for 4Ω and 8Ω loudspeakers, allowing the amplifier to be matched to the nominal impedance of compatible passive speaker systems.

THREE ANALOGUE LINE INPUTS

Three stereo RCA line inputs allow the MT-12N to accommodate a dedicated DAC, CD player, network streamer or other compatible analogue music source.

The amplifier operates as a conventional integrated component, combining source selection, volume control and stereo power amplification in one chassis. No additional preamplifier is required for standard line-level sources.

IDEAL FOR EFFICIENT LOUDSPEAKERS

With 2 × 9W rated output power, appropriate loudspeaker matching is especially important. The MT-12N is best suited to reasonably efficient speakers with manageable impedance characteristics, particularly for nearfield listening and smaller rooms.

For larger spaces, demanding loudspeaker loads or higher listening levels, a more powerful tube amplifier may provide greater available headroom.

CLASSIC WOOD AND CHROME DESIGN

The MT-12N combines a genuine wood front panel with chrome detailing and an anthracite-finished metal chassis. Three enclosed transformer housings and exposed vacuum tubes create a traditional appearance, while its relatively compact dimensions make it easier to accommodate in a dedicated Hi-Fi system.

The amplifier weighs approximately 8.3kg and includes a protective tube cover for additional safety during everyday use.
