CAYIN JAZZ 90 KT88 TUBE INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER

The Cayin Jazz 90 is a premium Class AB vacuum tube integrated amplifier that combines traditional valve craftsmanship with modern connectivity and intelligent protection. Equipped with four KT88 output tubes, selectable Triode and Ultralinear operation, high-resolution Bluetooth and a dedicated moving-magnet phono stage, it brings exceptional versatility to serious stereo listening.

POWERFUL KT88 PUSH-PULL AMPLIFICATION

The Jazz 90 features a carefully designed Class AB push-pull circuit with four KT88 power tubes, two 6SN7 driver tubes and two 12AX7/ECC83 input tubes.

In Ultralinear mode, it delivers 50 watts per channel for dynamic, authoritative music reproduction. Switching to Triode mode provides 28 watts per channel with a more intimate, harmonically rich presentation. These two operating modes allow listeners to tailor the amplifier's character to different recordings and loudspeakers.

TRIODE AND ULTRALINEAR LISTENING MODES

The rear-panel mode selector provides two distinct approaches to valve amplification. Ultralinear operation offers greater power and dynamic headroom, while Triode mode emphasises tonal richness, natural vocals and a relaxed musical flow.

The Jazz 90 also accommodates compatible EL34 output tubes through its dedicated tube-selection switch. Any change of output tubes must follow Cayin's instructions for tube compatibility, correct switch positioning and bias adjustment.

INTELLIGENT BIAS MONITORING

Cayin's Bias Monitoring Indicator (BMI) continuously monitors output tube operation and activates protection if abnormal current is detected. External bias controls simplify routine adjustment without requiring the amplifier's chassis to be opened.

Two illuminated analogue meters provide a visual indication of output levels and assist with bias setting, combining practical functionality with classic valve amplifier styling.

BLUETOOTH 5.1 WITH LDAC AND aptX HD

The integrated Qualcomm QCC5125 Bluetooth receiver supports LDAC, aptX HD, aptX Low Latency and AAC, allowing convenient wireless music playback from compatible smartphones, tablets and computers.

A dedicated ESS ES9018K2M DAC handles Bluetooth digital-to-analogue conversion before the signal enters the valve amplification stages. The Jazz 90 does not require an external Bluetooth receiver for wireless listening.

BUILT-IN MM PHONO STAGE

An integrated moving-magnet phono input allows direct connection of a compatible turntable. The phono stage provides standard 47kΩ loading, with carefully implemented RIAA equalisation for accurate vinyl playback.

Two additional stereo RCA line inputs accommodate a network streamer, CD player or other analogue source, creating a flexible system around one integrated amplifier.

HEADPHONE AND SUBWOOFER CONNECTIONS

A front-panel 6.35mm headphone output supports private listening without requiring a separate headphone amplifier.

A dedicated full-range subwoofer output enables integration with a compatible active subwoofer or external bass-management system. As this is a full-frequency output, crossover adjustment must be performed by the subwoofer or suitable external equipment.

HANDCRAFTED PREMIUM CONSTRUCTION

The Jazz 90 uses point-to-point hand wiring, a specially developed toroidal power transformer and carefully selected audio components. The substantial 27.5kg chassis is designed to provide mechanical stability and accommodate its sophisticated valve circuitry.

An included infrared remote provides convenient control of volume, mute and input selection. A removable protective tube cage completes the elegant, practical design.
