CAYIN CS-100A TUBE INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER
The Cayin CS-100A is a high-power vacuum tube integrated amplifier combining traditional Class AB push-pull engineering with flexible operating modes and carefully selected components. Available with either eight EL34 or eight KT88 output tubes, it allows customers to choose their preferred valve configuration while retaining the same core amplifier architecture, connectivity and features.
CHOOSE BETWEEN EL34 AND KT88 OUTPUT TUBES
The CS-100A is offered in two factory-equipped versions, allowing customers to select the output tube configuration best suited to their listening preferences.
The EL34 version delivers 75W per channel in Ultralinear mode and 40W per channel in Triode mode. The KT88 version delivers 80W per channel in Ultralinear mode and 50W per channel in Triode mode, according to Cayin's published specifications.
Both configurations use eight output tubes together with one 6SN7GTB voltage amplification tube, two 12AU7EH tubes for voltage amplification and phase inversion, and two 12BH7EH driver tubes.
SELECTABLE TRIODE AND ULTRALINEAR MODES
The CS-100A offers selectable Triode and Ultralinear operation, giving listeners two different output-stage configurations. Ultralinear mode provides the amplifier's maximum rated power, while Triode mode offers an alternative operating characteristic with reduced output power.
An integrated bias meter, external bias adjustment and rear-panel EL34/KT88 tube selection switch support the use of compatible output tube families. Tube changes require the correct switch setting and bias adjustment according to Cayin's instructions.
HAND-WIRED VACUUM TUBE ARCHITECTURE
Cayin employs point-to-point internal wiring, wide-bandwidth EI output transformers and a custom toroidal power transformer. Premium audio-grade capacitors, carbon-film resistors and ceramic tube sockets complement the traditional analogue design.
A high-quality ALPS motorised potentiometer provides precise volume adjustment, while the supplied infrared remote offers convenient operation from the listening position. The amplifier also incorporates a soft-start circuit to protect sensitive components during power-up.
FLEXIBLE ANALOGUE CONNECTIVITY
Three stereo RCA line inputs accommodate external DACs, CD players, music streamers and other line-level sources. A dedicated PRE-IN connection allows the CS-100A to operate as a stereo power amplifier when paired with a compatible external preamplifier.
A stereo RCA subwoofer output provides additional system integration possibilities, while dedicated 4Ξ© and 8Ξ© speaker terminals allow appropriate connection to compatible passive loudspeakers.
