REL T/7x Subwoofer

COMPACT SERIE T/X PERFORMANCE

The REL T/7x is a compact powered subwoofer designed for high-quality two-channel music systems and mixed music/home cinema setups. Positioned between the T/5x and T/9x, it combines a front-firing 8-inch active driver with a larger 10-inch down-firing passive radiator for greater output and extension without requiring a substantially larger cabinet.

ACTIVE DRIVER AND PASSIVE RADIATOR

The 200mm long-throw FibreAlloy active driver uses an inverted alloy centre cap and is supported by a 250mm down-firing passive radiator. This configuration allows the T/7x to extend down to 30Hz at -6dB while maintaining the compact proportions that make Serie T/x practical for smaller and medium-sized listening rooms.

200W CLASS A/B AMPLIFICATION

A 200W RMS Class A/B amplifier powers the T/7x. REL continues to use this analogue amplifier architecture throughout Serie T/x, with dedicated controls for High/Low Level gain, crossover and LFE level. The separate LFE channel also allows the subwoofer to be integrated into systems used for both stereo music and home cinema.

REL HIGH LEVEL CONNECTION

REL's High Level input connects to the speaker outputs of the main amplifier through the supplied Neutrik Speakon cable. This allows the subwoofer to receive the same signal characteristics as the main loudspeakers. Low-level RCA and dedicated LFE RCA inputs are also provided for alternative system configurations.

WIRELESS AND STEREO PAIR OPTIONS

The T/7x is compatible with the optional REL Arrow wireless system for installations where running a signal cable is impractical. Two matching T/7x subwoofers can also be used as a stereo pair, providing independent low-frequency support for the left and right channels.
