REL NO.32 REFERENCE SUBWOOFER
The REL No.32 is the flagship of REL's Reference Series, engineered for uncompromising two-channel audio and reference-level home cinema systems. Combining a 15-inch pure carbon-fibre driver, a 1,000W NextGen 7 Class D amplifier and an exceptionally rigid sealed cabinet, No.32 delivers deep, controlled bass with the scale and dynamic authority required by the most demanding loudspeaker systems.
15-INCH PURE CARBON-FIBRE DRIVER
The front-firing 15-inch (380mm) long-throw driver uses an all-carbon-fibre cone with an inverted carbon-fibre centre cap and a die-cast alloy chassis. Its rigid, lightweight construction helps minimise unwanted resonances while maintaining precise movement. The suspension permits up to 100mm of total travel, providing the displacement required for extended low-frequency performance.
Operating in a sealed enclosure without a passive radiator, No.32 reaches a specified 15Hz at -6dB, reproducing the lowest frequencies with exceptional authority.
1,000W NEXTGEN 7 AMPLIFICATION
REL's NextGen 7 Class D amplifier delivers 1,000W RMS and incorporates refined limiting and input circuitry for demanding musical transients and cinema effects. The analogue signal architecture includes two independent parametric filters, allowing detailed adjustment of low-frequency response and integration with the main loudspeakers.
REFERENCE REMOTE & FLEXIBLE CONNECTIONS
The included REL Reference Remote provides convenient control of crossover, level, phase and parametric equalisation from the listening position. High-Level Neutrik Speakon connectivity supports integration with compatible stereo amplifiers, while RCA and balanced XLR connections accommodate preamplifiers and home cinema processors.
High-Level and LFE inputs can be used simultaneously in appropriately configured systems. Optional REL AirShip II wireless connectivity is available separately.
REFERENCE CABINET & LINE ARRAY DESIGN
The substantial curvilinear cabinet incorporates extensive internal reinforcement, precision metal detailing and twelve coats of Piano Black lacquer. At 85kg, No.32 is designed as a permanent foundation for a high-performance audio system.
It can be installed individually, as a stereo pair or in vertically stacked REL Line Array configurations. These arrangements allow the system to expand while retaining individual crossover and level adjustments for each subwoofer.
