EVERSOLO DMP-A6 GEN 2 NETWORK STREAMER & DAC

The Eversolo DMP-A6 Gen 2 is a high-resolution network streamer, digital-to-analogue converter and digital transport designed for modern Hi-Fi systems. Building on the success of the original DMP-A6, the second generation introduces a low-noise linear power supply, HDMI ARC connectivity, 12V trigger output and Wake-on-LAN functionality.

DUAL ESS ES9038Q2M CONVERSION

Two ESS ES9038Q2M DAC chips provide independent left- and right-channel conversion, supported by a fully balanced analogue signal path. The XMOS XU316 USB audio processor enables PCM playback up to 32-bit/768kHz and native DSD512 through compatible interfaces.

Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs allow connection to integrated amplifiers, analogue preamplifiers and active loudspeakers, with adjustable output volume for compatible systems.

UPGRADED LOW-NOISE LINEAR POWER SUPPLY

A key improvement over the first-generation model is the new internal linear power supply. Engineered to reduce electrical noise, it provides stable power to the sensitive digital and analogue audio circuits.

Combined with dual high-precision clock oscillators, this design supports accurate high-resolution playback and excellent measured audio performance.

ROON READY STREAMING & MUSIC LIBRARY

The DMP-A6 Gen 2 supports Roon Ready playback, TIDAL Connect, DLNA and a broad selection of compatible streaming services, including Qobuz and TIDAL. The Eversolo Control app enables music browsing, playback management and system configuration from compatible mobile devices.

Gigabit Ethernet and dual-band Wi-Fi provide network connectivity, while the EOS audio engine supports original-sampling-rate playback with compatible applications.

HDMI ARC & FLEXIBLE DIGITAL CONNECTIVITY

HDMI ARC allows audio from a compatible television to be played through the DMP-A6 Gen 2 and connected Hi-Fi equipment. Additional digital inputs include USB audio, coaxial, optical and Bluetooth.

For systems using an external DAC, USB audio, coaxial, optical and HDMI multichannel audio outputs offer flexible digital transport functionality. The HDMI audio output is separate from the HDMI ARC input and is not an I²S output.

6-INCH TOUCHSCREEN & INTERNAL SSD STORAGE

A 6-inch colour touchscreen provides intuitive access to streaming applications, album artwork, playlists, settings and customisable playback displays.

An internal M.2 NVMe SSD slot allows compatible music storage to be installed directly inside the unit. USB storage devices and network music libraries offer further ways to access a personal high-resolution collection.

SMART SYSTEM INTEGRATION

The second generation adds a 12V trigger output for coordinated power control with compatible equipment. Wake-on-LAN enables convenient network-based activation, making the DMP-A6 Gen 2 suitable for integrated audio systems.

With its extensive connectivity, balanced analogue outputs and intuitive interface, it can act as a complete digital source or serve as a dedicated transport feeding a higher-tier external DAC.
