Combine the EX-M1's high-current amplification with Courbet NΒ°8's carbon bass driver and dedicated Kevlar midrange.
The Kinki Studio EX-M1 is a high-performance Class AB integrated amplifier combining powerful dual-mono amplification, precision electronic volume control and exceptional build quality. Delivering 215 watts per channel into 8 ohms, it brings impressive drive, clarity and dynamic capability to serious two-channel audio systems.
The EX-M1 provides 215W per channel into 8 ohms with both channels driven. Its discrete amplification architecture is designed to deliver fast transients, accurate bass control and expansive dynamic range.
A manufacturer-specified damping factor of 2000 reflects the amplifier's low output impedance and its emphasis on controlled loudspeaker drive. The EX-M1 is suitable for a wide range of compatible premium bookshelf and floorstanding speakers.
Independent left and right channel amplification modules are supported by separate high-capacity power supplies. Two encapsulated 400VA toroidal transformers provide dedicated power resources, helping reduce electrical interaction between the stereo channels.
The modular construction, carefully arranged signal paths and substantial heatsinking contribute to stable operation and long-term serviceability.
The EX-M1 uses a sophisticated JRC MUSES72320 electronic volume-control system rather than a conventional analogue potentiometer. Its microprocessor-controlled attenuation delivers precise volume adjustment while maintaining low noise and distortion.
The front-panel display and included remote control make everyday operation convenient, while preserving the amplifier's minimalist analogue design.
Kinki Studio employs a direct-coupled amplification architecture without conventional coupling capacitors in the main audio signal path.
The amplifier's frequency response extends from 10Hz to 150kHz, complemented by carefully selected components and gold-plated printed circuit boards. These design choices support wide-bandwidth reproduction and low-level detail retrieval.
Three stereo RCA inputs and one balanced stereo XLR input allow connection to external DACs, network streamers, CD players and other line-level audio sources.
The EX-M1 is a purely analogue integrated amplifier without a built-in DAC, network streaming module or phono preamplifier. External components can be selected to match the listener's preferred music sources and formats.
The EX-M1 features a substantial aluminium chassis, robust speaker terminals and a carefully organised internal layout. At 25kg, its construction reflects the scale of the power supply and amplification circuitry.
Available in Black and Silver, the EX-M1 combines understated styling with the performance and connectivity expected from a premium stereo integrated amplifier.
The EX-M1 offers a compelling solution for listeners who prefer a powerful, dedicated analogue integrated amplifier rather than an all-in-one streaming system. Pair it with a quality external streamer or DAC and compatible Davis Acoustics loudspeakers for a complete high-performance stereo setup.
