FOSI AUDIO LC30 SPEAKER SELECTOR
The Fosi Audio LC30 is an amplifier and speaker selector designed for Hi-Fi systems using multiple amplifiers or passive loudspeaker pairs. It allows two amplifiers and two pairs of speakers to remain connected, making system switching and A/B comparison considerably easier without repeatedly changing speaker cables.
TWO AMPLIFIERS & TWO SPEAKER PAIRS
The LC30 accepts speaker-level connections from up to two amplifiers and provides outputs for two pairs of passive loudspeakers. Front-panel controls and the supplied remote allow rapid selection between connected components, making the unit particularly useful for comparative listening, demonstration systems and multi-amplifier setups.
UP TO 250W PER CHANNEL
Fosi Audio specifies support for amplifier power up to 250W per channel into 4Ω. The LC30 is compatible with a broad range of amplifier designs including Class A, Class B, Class AB, Class D, BTL and tube amplifiers.
390Ω AMPLIFIER LOAD PROTECTION
Built-in 390Ω protective load resistors help prevent connected amplifiers from being left completely unloaded during switching. This is particularly relevant for tube amplifiers, where operation without an appropriate load can be undesirable. Relay-based switching and robust internal signal paths are used to handle the speaker-level connection.
DUAL ANALOGUE VU METERS
The LC30 features two large 85 × 45mm analogue VU meters. Pointer sensitivity can be adjusted to suit different signal levels, while the backlight provides five brightness settings: 100%, 75%, 50%, 25% and off.
REMOTE CONTROL & USB-C POWER
Amplifier selection, speaker selection and VU-meter illumination can be controlled from the front panel or with the supplied IR remote. A 5V USB-C connection powers the switching controls and meter illumination, while the speaker-level audio signal itself remains independent of a conventional amplification stage.
