The Topping SR2 is a modular three-level desktop equipment rack designed to organise DACs, headphone amplifiers, preamplifiers and other compatible Hi-Fi components. Its aluminium construction, adaptable support system and protective feet offer an elegant solution for building a clean, organised desktop audio system.

THREE-LEVEL ALUMINIUM CONSTRUCTION

The SR2 features three aluminium shelves supported by cylindrical aluminium pillars. Its rigid construction provides dedicated platforms for separate audio components while maintaining a coordinated appearance.

With an overall width of approximately 289mm, the SR2 is particularly suitable for compact and medium-width desktop audio equipment. Each shelf helps separate individual components, allowing easier access to controls and connections.

MODULAR SHELF CONFIGURATION

The SR2 features a modular support system with threaded aluminium pillars that can be arranged during assembly. This construction provides flexibility when positioning compatible components of different heights.

The rack can be configured to suit different equipment combinations, helping users organise their desktop systems without stacking audio components directly on top of one another.

EXPANDABLE DESIGN - COMBINE TWO SR2 RACKS

One of the SR2's most practical features is its expandable construction. Two complete Topping SR2 sets can be combined to create a larger equipment rack with up to six shelves, providing additional space for a growing Hi-Fi system.

This modular approach allows users to start with a single three-level rack and expand their installation when more equipment is added. The combined configuration retains the same aluminium construction and coordinated appearance.

The support pillars can also be combined to increase the available vertical clearance in compatible assembly configurations, helping accommodate taller audio components.

Each SR2 set is sold separately. Two complete sets are required for the expanded six-shelf arrangement.

Before installation, users should verify each component's dimensions, weight, support-foot positions and ventilation requirements. Adequate clearance should be maintained around equipment that generates heat.

STABLE SUPPORT AND PROTECTIVE FEET

The rack includes pointed support feet and protective bases designed to provide stable positioning on a suitable desktop or equipment shelf. The protective bases help prevent direct contact between the pointed feet and the supporting surface.

Its aluminium construction provides a stable foundation for compatible audio components without requiring a conventional full-size equipment rack.

COMPACT DESIGN AND STRAIGHTFORWARD ASSEMBLY

Measuring approximately 288.9mm wide, 237.7mm deep and 187.9mm high in its standard configuration, the SR2 provides three equipment levels while maintaining a compact desktop footprint.

The supplied installation hardware and illustrated assembly instructions make it straightforward to construct the rack and adapt its arrangement as the audio system evolves.
