KINKI STUDIO EARTH RCA INTERCONNECTS 1.5M
The Kinki Studio Earth RCA interconnects are premium analogue audio cables designed for high-performance stereo systems. Supplied as a matched 1.5-metre pair, they combine silver-plated OCC copper conductors, DuPont PTFE insulation, gold-plated connectors and integrated high-frequency noise absorption.
SILVER-PLATED OCC COPPER CONDUCTORS
The Earth RCA cables use Ohno Continuous Casting (OCC) monocrystalline copper conductors with silver plating. According to Kinki Studio, the silver layer is approximately 2.2 times thicker than in conventional comparison designs.
The conductor surfaces undergo a polishing process intended to improve consistency and reduce microscopic surface imperfections.
PASSIVE HIGH-FREQUENCY EMI ABSORPTION
An integrated absorbing ring acts as a passive filter designed to attenuate electromagnetic interference above 100kHz.
This approach targets high-frequency interference without requiring additional power or active electronics. Its effectiveness in a particular system depends on the surrounding electrical environment and connected components.
DUPONT PTFE INSULATION
The cable uses DuPont PTFE insulation, selected for its dielectric stability, temperature resistance and durability.
The insulation contributes to the cable's robust construction and helps maintain reliable separation between conductors.
GOLD-PLATED RCA CONNECTORS
Gold-plated copper connector contacts provide secure connections to compatible RCA inputs and outputs. Kinki Studio specifies reinforced connector cores approximately 1.5 times thicker than its conventional reference design.
The cables feature RCA male connectors at both ends, making them suitable for standard unbalanced stereo line-level audio connections.
THREE-STAGE CRYOGENIC TREATMENT
Kinki Studio subjects the cables and connectors to a three-stage cryogenic treatment reaching -196Β°C. This specialised manufacturing process forms part of the Earth series' material-treatment programme.
