Mono Class D Amplifier TPA3255 240W 4 Ohm
The Fosi Audio V3 MONO is a compact, powerful but still affordable 1-way amplifier. Based on a TI TPA3255 amplifier chip, it can deliver 240W at 4Ω. Furthermore, this amplifier is equipped with a host of audiophile components such as Japanese and German Elna and Wima capacitors, respectively, or a duo of DIP8-mounted TI NE5532 OPAs, giving you the option of replacing them if you want a specific sound coloration. Regarding connectors, the Fosi Ausio V3 offers a balanced XLR/jack 6.35mm combo input, an RCA input and a speaker terminal block for the output.
A DC48V 5A power supply is supplied, but for dual Mono installation a DC 48V 10A power supply and a DC 5.5/2.5 jack doubler are available as accessories.
Fosi Audio V3: Noise and distortion-free amplification
The V3 mono amplifier benefits from PFFB technology, an advanced feedback design that significantly reduces distortion, improves linearity and enhances efficiency. It also remedies a structural problem in Class D amplification by negating the load dependency inherent to this technology. Furthermore, the aluminum enclosure design isolates the power supply from the amplifier section, preventing crosstalk.
Fosi Audio V3: A flexible amplifier
The V3 amplifier is designed to be integrated into multiple configurations, allowing you to switch easily between RCA and XLR inputs using the front panel switch. Furthermore, you can adjust the gain of the RCA input between 25dB and 31dB. Finally, if you wish for a different sound coloration, DIP8 mounting of the TI NE5532 OPAs enables them to be replaced.
Fosi Audio V3: A redesigned cooling system
To prevent overheating and thus ensure the longevity of their amplifier, Fosi Audio have developed an innovative ventilation system, in addition to the traditional heat sink system on the amplifier chip. The ventilation system is designed to block any dust infiltration without compromising cooling, ensuring impeccable sound quality coupled with enhanced reliability.
